Studio students LOVE this Pilates Arc by Balanced Body. Alexis loves it because of it's variability. You can use it for abdominal work, spinal articulation, side lying stretching and strengthening work, spinal and thoracic mobility as well as supported strengthening for the upper back and spinal extensors. PLUS, you an take it apart for easier portability and storage or flip it upside down to create an unstable surface for a big balance challenge.
One of my favorite ways to start the day is with a short but sweet daily musing by Mark Nepo . . .
So versatile . . . we use this in the studio for strength, stability, support, mobility, ab work and more . . . it can even be used as in place of the Pilates Arc for some exercises!

This is one of my go-to self massage tools. Not only do I keep one in the studio and my car but I rarely travel without it. Why? It's SO versatile. It can be used to improve mobility and relieve tight muscles and fascia on your back, butt, legs, arms, lats, hip flexors . . .

Most roller sticks will get into your calves, thighs and other hard to reach places including your back, but THIS one is my favorite because of the easy to hold ergonomic handle that has a flexible bump that mimics the feeling of a thumb to massage the often tight upper trapezius muscles. It brings self-massage to a whole new level in my opinion.
This is a big-time studio favorite and one of those tools that I literally carry in my purse because it's so versatile. This textured massage ball stimulates the nerve endings in your hands and feet while you roll them out to reduce muscle and fascial tension plus it comes apart to create two domes which make stable tools on which to stand and release pressure points AND it has a smaller RAD ball inside to target more specific areas wherever you need it.
We use this in the studio to create sensory input under your feet when they are one the floor for Pilates mat work and standing exercises. Duplicate it at home with your very own!
